At this time all tutoring services will be provided by qualified teachers or substitutes through their local school district or charter, or through approved tutoring providers that apply and are awarded contracts through ADE's Procurement Portal. Tutoring contracts will not be awarded to individuals at this time.
Session One begins November 27, 2023.
Session Two begins mid-January 2024. The exact date is to be determined
Parents can reschedule a tutoring session with the tutoring provider if there is time to do so within the session block of time. If a student is a no-show, ADE will pay for three sessions, but after the third no-show session, the student is dropped and may not re-enroll until the next six-week session begins.
Tutoring sessions may be online or in-person. It is up the the parent and tutoring provider to find a location for in-person tutoring. It is not the responsibility of the school district or charter to provide a location for tutoring.
For Session One, November 27 - December 2023, parents will attest to their student's eligibility and then receive a list of ADE authorized ATP Tutoring Providers. Parents will then contact you directly to establish sessions for their student.
For Session Two, beginning mid-January 2024, and all subsequent sessions, shcool districts and charters will distribute to parents the ADE authorized list of ATP Tutoring Providers if the student is eligible.
For Session One, November 27 - December 22, 2023, you will submit an invoice at the end of the session to ADE for the hours tutored. ADE may request records of the tutoring sessions at that point in time to verify dates, students, and subjects tutored.
For Session Two, beginning mid-January 2024, and all subsequent sessions, your ATP Manager will upload you into the ATP portal where you will record your sessions with your students. Training will be available for the ATP portal in January 2024.
